The Veil

So fragile and uncertain your memory seems to feel

So much emptiness and distance from where

You wish and desire to be

Attempting to bridge the gap of knowing and being

You fill your life with what I should be

So empty is the vessel that your point of view wanders forth

Forcing your personality with aspects of want

Caught in an evasive propriety you struggle along

That even living here and now seems too heavy to share

Through others you can see yourself at times and you smile

But uncomfortable that vision seems at times only to last a short while

To touch, to see, to sense., a longing stirs within

That somehow the separations would pale and thin

The more you try the further it goes

So you wish to be there without a try

Come forth and be brave so that you and the many

As one, may center yourselves in the acclaim

Brightness nurtured by intent brings forth

Wondrous worlds of adventure that are indeed Heaven sent

Call upon the Hosts so close that they almost feel a part of you

For you are indeed the long lost child

Lay claim once again for that which is yours

Be brave and struggle to find your door

See to see what you hold in your hand

A key with your name inscribed upon it you vaguely recall

Through the mists of time you wonder if truly you were that tall

Or if it is indeed a dream urging you on.
